Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Ben — founder of Tierra Trekking Co.

After years of long-distance hiking across places like the Andes, the Pyrenees, the Caucasus, and the Middle East, I kept coming back to the Camino. I’ve walked multiple routes and spent extended time in Spain and Portugal getting to know the people, places, and rhythms of the trail.

Tierra Trekking Co. is built on that experience. When you book with me, you’re not dealing with a big company — you’re working with someone who’s walked the path and takes care of every detail personally.

We make our information free

My mission for Tierra Trekking Co. is simple: to help more people experience the magic of the Camino. That’s why we make our planning guides, tips, and resources free and accessible.

Built on Firsthand Experience

Our approach comes from experience — real time spent on the Camino, across multiple routes and many walks. We’ve covered the distances, stayed in the towns, and seen what the journey feels like day after day.

You’ll Always Deal with Me

You'll always be dealing with me — not a call centre, not an outsourced team. From your first enquiry to the moment you arrive in Santiago, I’m across every detail.

We Specialise in the Camino

I am focused entirely on the Camino. That’s where my experience lies, and it’s where I put all my attention — walking the routes, refining the details, and building strong relationships with local hosts.
